SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of partial discharge (Te) measurement in an electric drive system (2), which includes an electric rotating machine (4) and a frequency converter (6). According to the claimed method, the shape of the frequency converter signal (R, S, T) generated by the frequency converter (6) is continuously analyzed, while when the signal (R, S, T) of the frequency converter has a sinusoidal waveform, the measuring signal (M) is recorded, while the measuring signal (M) is compared with the reference signal (Rs), while when the deviation of the measuring signal (M) from the reference signal (Rs) exceeds the threshold value (Sw), a partial discharge (Te) is recorded. The group of inventions also includes a control unit containing means for implementing the specified method, a partial discharge measurement system and a drive system.
EFFECT: ensuring that measurement can be carried out during the operation of the electric drive system (2).
