FIELD: discharge registration.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method and device (1) for registering partial discharges on the winding of an electrical machine. According to the invention, first electromagnetic measurement signals can be registered in the partial discharge frequency range and second electromagnetic measurement signals in the interference frequency range. In addition, a time window around the first measurement signal is set, and a recognition criterion for the partial discharge signal and an interference signal criterion for the second measurement signal are determined. A partial discharge is identified if the first measurable signal that fulfils the recognition criterion is detected and the second measurable signal that fulfils the interference signal criterion is not detected in the time window around the first measurable signal.

EFFECT: increased reliability of registration of partial discharges.
