FIELD: construction industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of repair of metal structures and can be used to eliminate leaks through crack-like defects of thick-walled metal structures. A non-removable clamping device consisting of bolts, traverse and brackets is used, while using bolts on both sides of the crack, brackets are installed that attract each other to create compressive stresses in the structure that prevent the crack from spreading, and the plaster or rubber gasket is pressed using the said pressure plate and bolts screwed into the traverse, which rests against the protrusions of the brackets, by gradually creating a force in the said pressure device until the water supply stops from under the said plaster or rubber gasket.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to carry out repairs with one-way access, as well as if it is impossible to carry it out using spark formation and open fire.
