FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions or materials based on high-molecular compounds, in particular to glass-mineral-containing polymer compositions, used to produce fire-resistant structures and articles from polymer materials, and can be used, for example, in construction, electrical engineering, transport machine building. Set task is solved by low-combustible polymer composite material, which is low-combustible plastic, which includes unsaturated polyester resin on an orthophthalic base, aluminium hydroxide as a fire retardant, magnesium hydroxide, rheological additives, a pigment paste, a curing system comprising an organic peroxide and an accelerator, as well as reinforcing filler, which is a non-woven material from non-oriented glass fibres arranged in a random order in the volume of the material, wt. %: unsaturated polyester resin on an orthophthalic base in amount of 20–30, aluminium hydroxide in amount of 40–49, a reinforcing filler in amount of 16–38, magnesium hydroxide in amount of 0–3, rheological additives in amount of 0.2–0.5, pigment paste in amount of 0.5–0.7, organic peroxide in amount of 0.5–1, accelerator in amount of 0.3.
EFFECT: creation of a low-combustible polymer material with possibility of giving it an arbitrary shape while maintaining its stable physical properties.
