FIELD: welding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for fastening a bolt to a base with a surface layer. The surface layer is removed in a certain surface area of the base that is more than the bolt diameter. A recess is made, for example, in the form of a blind hole. In particular, the recess has a centering profile, and the end has an opposite profile that, when installing the bolt in the recess, engages with it. When connecting the bolt with the base, its end and/or the base is melted and cured. The recess around the bolt is closed by means of a protective element. The protective element can contain a protective disc made of metal or ceramics, and a sealing ring made of elastomer. Due to the protection of the base, improvement of the surface layer in places of its removal is not required or simplified.
EFFECT: method allows for simplifying and/or improving the fastening of a welding bolt to the base.
