SUBSTANCE: method for predicting the movement of another vehicle, which calculates, based on the behavior of a second vehicle moving in an adjacent lane, a lane change probability indicating the probability of a lane change by a second vehicle in front of its own vehicle from an adjacent lane to its own lane, in which own vehicle is traveling and, using the lane change probability and the threshold value, predicts the lane change that the second vehicle must perform. A method for predicting the movement of another vehicle and a device for predicting the movement of another vehicle are also proposed.

EFFECT: suppression of erroneous prediction of the motion of another vehicle or prediction delay is achieved.
