SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method and device for predicting actions of another vehicle. The method is proposed for predicting actions of another vehicle of a device for predicting actions of another vehicle to predict that another vehicle moving in an adjacent lane adjacent to its own lane, along which considered vehicle is moving, performs a lane change from an adjacent lane to its own lane ahead of considered vehicle, in accordance with behavior of another vehicle. The method includes obtaining the actual traffic state of another vehicle, obtaining traffic regulation information as traffic regulation information in relation to an adjacent lane in front of another vehicle, predicting traffic state, which is traffic state of another vehicle when driving in accordance with traffic regulation, calculating recognition probability indicating probability that, that another vehicle recognizes traffic regulation, comparing the predicted traffic state with the actual traffic state, and predicting that another vehicle is performing a lane change, according to comparison result and probability of recognition.
EFFECT: increase in driving safety of unmanned vehicle is achieved.
