FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. Rolling mill stand comprises two lower bending units (12, 13) secured at bed (2) with lower pad (17), two upper bending units (14, 15) with upper pad (16). Shifting device (30) for upper working roll (10) and upper pad (16) make a sliding joint while shifting device (31) for lower roll (11) and lower pad (17) make like sliding joint. Lower pad (17) and lower bending units (12, 13) make the sliding joint to allow pad (17) to displace vertically to bend lower working roll (11) by actuators (20, 21). Two upper bending units (14, 15) are arranged vertically at bed (2) to allow bending of upper working roll (10). Shift of upper working roll (10) is effected by sliding joint between upper pad (16) and two upper sliding units (14, 15) under load at rolling.
EFFECT: shift of working rolls under load without damages.
