FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: the invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering. The sealing element is made in the form of a cone-shaped ring having a shape in the form of a trapezoid in the radial section. The outer and inner conical surfaces comprise support planes at the points of contact with the support and clamping surfaces, the linear dimensions of which are respectively equal to 1/2 of the length of the trapezoid bases. The ratio of the upper base to the lower base is 1: 2. The edges of the conical surfaces are blunted with a radius rounding of 0.05 to 0.1 of the thickness of the resilient disc-type sealing element along the inner and outer diameter, respectively.
EFFECT: higher structural strength and energy capacity, higher fatigue strength and service life, as well as higher sealing properties.
