FIELD: metal processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrochemical processing of metals and alloys in a pulse-cyclic mode with process optimization and can be used to obtain composite surfaces of parts of aircraft gas turbine engines with high processing accuracy. The method includes pulse-cyclic processing of a metal billet in an electrolyte using an electrode tool at the stages of roughing, clean-off and finishing processing using an automated machine control system, in which an oscillatory motion is reported to the electrode tool with periodic monitoring of the interelectrode gap and palpation. In the last cycle of finishing with the help of an automated control system of the machine, the duration of a batch of current pulses is calculated and set, which is directly proportional to the distance to the end of processing and inversely proportional to the rate of electrochemical dissolution of the workpiece metal.
EFFECT: increase in the accuracy and quality of dimensional electrochemical pulse-cyclic processing by removing the exact size of the metal in the last processing cycle.
