SUBSTANCE: in the method, the blade preform is installed in the working chamber of the machine and the blade is treated with two electrode tools, applying voltage to the electrodes and the blade, pumping the electrolyte through the interelectrode gap, and setting the synchronous-discrete displacement of electrodes with periodic scraping of the blade. The movement direction of each electrode is set so that it forms an acute angle with the blade axis, the vertex of which faces towards the blade shelf, the electrolyte is supplied from the end of the blade tip. The blade is treated in two settings, with the first installation, a preliminary electrochemical machining operation is carried out, at which the allowance for a final electrochemical machining is left not more than 0.2 mm on two sides along the edge, then the blade is removed from the machine, and the blade is cut in a chord with an allowance within not more than 0.2 mm on two sides, after which the second installation is performed, in which a finishing operation of the electrochemical treatment of the blade is performed.

EFFECT: maintaining the geometry stability of the turbine engine blades and eliminating the need for a final locksmith rounding operation and fitting the edge thicknesses.
