SUBSTANCE: group of claimed inventions relates to a locking mechanism for securing the cable of a locking and sealing apparatus and to a locking and sealing apparatus containing such a mechanism, used for locking and simultaneously sealing stationary objects. Locking mechanism for securing the cable of a locking and sealing apparatus, consisting of an insert body, a spring and a cable-securing tool, wherein the insert body is shaped as a dodecagonal concave right prism, is made to a depth of at least half the depth of the channel for the LSA cable, and has two recesses for placing one end of a twisted spring and the cable-securing tool therein, respectively, wherein on two opposite sides of the insert body with the largest area, recesses are made for securing the locking mechanism in the body of the LSA by punching and the cable-securing tool shaped as an octagonal concave right prism, in the upper part whereof an acute angle is made, blocking the cable, made in the securing tool is a recess for placing the second end of the twisted spring and a support heel whereon said end stands when the inclination angle thereof is changed, and a locking and sealing apparatus containing at least one locking mechanism for securing the cable.
