The amounts of albumin and prealbumin in the blood serum and the intestinal peak factor (IPF) are determined as the ratio of the frequency of bowel sounds per minute to the sum of the values ​​of glycated hemoglobin and blood glucose. At the same time, all indicators: IPF, albumins and prealbumins are determined before and after the operation. Then the coefficient of nutritional deficiency (C_p.d.) is calculated as the sum of IPF, albumins, prealbumins. If (C_p.d.) before the operation exceeds (C_p.d.) after surgery by more than 30%, a severe degree of PD is predicted, if from 15 to 30% - an average degree of PD, if up to 15% - a mild degree of PD.
