FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely psychiatry and can be used for the differential diagnosis of panic disorder and organic anxiety disorder in connection with vascular disease of the brain. To do this, the level of reactive anxiety, the number of natural killers, and the phagocytic index of neutrophils are determined. When the level of reactive anxiety is 46 points or more, the number of natural killers is 12% or less, the phagocytic neutrophil index is 57% or more, panic disorder is diagnosed. With values of reactive anxiety of 45 points or less, the number of natural killers of 13% or more, the phagocytic index of neutrophils of 56% or less, organic anxiety disorder is diagnosed in connection with vascular disease of the brain.
EFFECT: invention provides effective treatment of this category of patients due to the correct and timely selection of psychotherapeutic and pharmacological measures adequate to the patient’s mental state.
