FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agrometeorology and can be used to predict crop yield. Essence: series of meteorological data is formed for the past period of not less than 30 years. Meteorological data used are daily average values of temperature, number of hours of sunshine, number of hours of air humidity deficiency and daily precipitation for the period from April to September of each year of the selected observation period, recorded by meteorological stations. Method includes processing meteorological data by mathematical transformations, obtaining simulated daily values of meteorological data. Generated simulated daily series of meteorological data are loaded into the Climate-Harvest-Soil system as input data and the economic yield is calculated for a specific agricultural crop, and also determining heat and moisture availability during the vegetation period of a specific year.
EFFECT: higher yield prediction accuracy.
