FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a composition for the improvement of nitrogen assimilation in a ruminant animal and a method for its production, as well as to feed, feed material, premix and feed additive for the improvement of nitrogen assimilation in a ruminant animal. The composition includes a composition based on non-protein nitrogen and coating surrounding the compound based on non-protein nitrogen, where the specified coating contains one or more layers of a mixture containing saturated fat and fatty acid. At the same time, the specified coating contains from 60 wt. % +/- 10% to 85 wt. % +/- 10% of saturated fat and from 15 wt. % +/- 10% to 40 wt. % +/- 10% of fatty acid. The amount of each component is given per the total weight of coating. Feed, feed material, premix and feed additive contain the above-described composition.
EFFECT: use of the group of inventions will allow for the improvement of nitrogen assimilation in animals.
