FIELD: space technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of studying celestial bodies producing cold emissions of water-containing volcanic gases (hereinafter – WVG). A space probe is equipped with an externally placed wind power plant (hereinafter – WPP) operating in a stream of cold emissions of WVG of a celestial body (for example, the Saturn’s moon Enceladus). It is possible to operate WPP in a stationary position (after a soft landing), for example, at the mouth of WVG emission. To ensure the efficiency of WPP, anti-icing devices are used in its composition.
EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of the space probe by replenishing its energy resource due to the kinetic energy of WVG emissions of the studied celestial body.
