FIELD: flying vehicles. SUBSTANCE: control surface and wing opening and locking mechanism has swivel and root parts of control surface or wing, opening and locking actuating parts and spring used as mechanical drive. Opening part consists of slide block, rigid rod which is articulated to swivel part and provided with groove above the axle holding the slide block; this groove is equal to half the diameter of slide block axle cut by half its diameter at point of rotation of rod and locked on slide block. Opening part is linked through slide block with pin- retainer by means of adapter member; one end of slide block is supported by mechanical drive made in form of compression spring; pin-retainer is a locking part mechanism which enhances aerodynamic characteristics of structure and provides for minimum moment of inertia due to compact arrangement of mechanism along axis of turn.
