METHOD FOR DIFFERENTIAL DIAGNOSIS OF HYPOKINESIA IN PATIENTS WITH PARKINSONISM SYNDROME AND SYSTEM FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF THE METHOD (VARIANTS) Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC A61B5/00

Abstract RU 2770980 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of medicine and can be used for diagnosing, assessing the progression and effectiveness of treatment in neurodegenerative disorders, in particular, Parkinson's disease. Proposed is a method for differential diagnosis of hypokinesia in patients with Parkinsonism syndrome, wherein the patient performs a complex of test movements aimed at assessing hypokinesia, and taken as a quantification of test movements, the data whereon is obtained using an apparatus for obtaining the data on the change in the position of the measured part of the body, is the product of the threshold amplitude by the amount of movements with an amplitude greater than threshold, wherein the threshold amplitude is selected so as to ensure the maximum value of the quantification.

EFFECT: group of inventions ensures objectification of the assessment of the degree of hypokinesia (motor function disorder), accounting for the reduction in the amplitude of movements and the frequency thereof compared to a healthy person, increase in the accuracy of obtaining the initial data and quantity thereof, allowing for highly efficient observation of the trends in the condition of the patient and prompt response to changes.
