FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mining and, in particular, to methods for extracting diamonds from ores and industrial products - enrichment tailings. The method for extracting diamonds from ores and enrichment tailings includes processing raw materials with a luminophor-containing composition consisting of an organic phase and an organic phosphor, and extracting diamonds by means of photo- or X-ray-luminescent separation, wherein oil-soluble substances are used as an organic luminophor, and a mixture of high molecular weight and low molecular weight petroleum products is used as part of the organic phase of the luminophor-containing composition, wherein the luminophor is dissolved in the organic phase in a ratio of 1:300 to 1:600, then the resulting solution of the luminophor in an organic component is mixed with water in a ratio from 1:20 to 1:50, and an emulsion is prepared applying ultrasonic dispersion, and the raw materials are processed by the prepared emulsion.
EFFECT: increase in the extraction of diamonds, increase in the quality of the diamond-containing concentrate, and reduction in the consumption of a luminophor-containing composition.
