SUBSTANCE: methods for extracting diamonds from ores and middlings using the X-ray luminescent separation method, including pre-treatment of the feedstock with a phosphor-containing emulsion. A method for extracting diamonds from ores and industrial products includes preparing a phosphor-containing composition based on an inorganic phosphor and an organic fraction, preparing an emulsion of the phosphor-containing composition, processing the initial diamond-containing material with a phosphor-containing emulsion, removing excess emulsion and returning it to the emulsion preparation operation, extracting diamonds by X-ray luminescence separation using amplitude kinetic separation method. Diaphragm electrolysis of mineralized technical water is carried out to obtain anolyte and catholyte. The diamond-containing material is pre-treated with anolyte at a pH of 3.5-4.5; after treatment, excess anolyte is separated from the diamond-containing material and mixed with catholyte, the mixture is settled, the clarified aqueous phase is separated from the formed sediments and returned to the process water electrolysis operation. Additions of anolyte maintain the pH of the emulsion in the range of 4.5-6.5.

EFFECT: increase in diamond recovery without reducing the quality of the diamond-containing concentrate.
