FIELD: mining industry.
SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to the field of mineral extraction and, in particular, to methods for extracting diamonds from ores and industrial products, including the treatment of enriched classes of feedstock with phosphor-containing emulsions containing a composition of luminophors from scintillation anthracene and zinc orthosilicate activated by manganese, and the extraction of diamonds by X-ray luminescent separation using an amplitude-kinetic separation method. The method for extracting diamonds from ores and industrial products includes processing of the enriched classes of feedstock with phosphor-containing emulsions containing a composition of luminophors from scintillation anthracene and manganese-activated zinc orthosilicate, and extraction of diamonds by X-ray luminescent separation using the amplitude-kinetic separation method. The composition of luminophors is pre-crushed to a fineness of -5+0 mcm and mixed in a mass ratio from 1:100 to 1:300 with an organic phase consisting of petroleum oils and components of the average distillate fraction of oil. The emulsion is obtained by dispersing the phosphor-containing organic phase in water at a mass ratio of the organic phase and water from 1:50 to 1:20. Diesel fuel or a mixture of diesel fuel and fuel oil of the fleet F-5 in a mass ratio of more than 10:1 is used as the organic phase. Additionally, a reagent, a dispersant of the class of water-soluble phosphates, for example, trisodium phosphate at a concentration of 1 to 1.5 g/l, is fed into the emulsion.
EFFECT: increased diamond extraction without increasing the concentrate yield.
