SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and concerns a method for the quantitative determination of anticonvulsants in the blood plasma of patients with epilepsy, including their isolation from the blood plasma, followed by chromato-mass spectrometry of the extraction products and registration of the mass spectra of the analyzed agents, where the isolation of anticonvulsants from the blood plasma and purification of the extract is carried out by deproteinization by adding the internal standard N-adamantyl-hexamethyleneimine in acetonitrile to the blood plasma sample, the resulting mixture is shaken, and then centrifuged, after which the supernatant is transferred to a chromatographic vial, which is placed in the autosampler of the chromatograph for further mass spectrometric detection, and the content of anticonvulsants is determined by high performance liquid chromatography with mass spectrometric detection on a liquid chromato-mass spectrometer, the analyzed substances are separated on the column, and the quantitative determination of the concentration for each of the anticonvulsant compounds in the blood plasma is carried out according to the formula as the ratio of the peak areas of the analyzed anticonvulsant and the internal standard, expressed in arbitrary integration units, multiplied by the value of the conversion factor for the slope of the calibration curve to the abscissa axis and summed with the conversion factor of the point of intersection of the curve with the y-axis.
EFFECT: invention provides high reproducibility and accuracy, as well as significant acceleration and simplification of therapeutic drug monitoring.
