FIELD: genetic engineering and biochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of genetic engineering and biochemistry, as well as to medicine and pharmaceuticals, and is aimed at creating low-toxic cationic dendrimeric peptides as intracellular transporters of nucleic acids (NA) of various structures. A means for intracellular delivery of nucleic acids into mammalian cells is proposed, which is a dendrimeric cationic peptide.
EFFECT: resulting agent provides delivery of both plasmid DNA and small interfering RNA (siRNA), which makes it possible to use it as a promising agent for gene therapy, including therapy based on RNA interference.
