FIELD: separation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a separation device for the separation of large fragments from a suspension containing liquid and solid phases, for example from a cellulose suspension. The device has case (10) with supplying pipeline (1) and discharging pipeline (2), and rotor block (13) is located between supplying and discharging pipelines (1, 2), as well as receiving pipeline (3) of case (10). Rotor block (13) has shaft (4), which is transverse relatively to a direction of a through flow of a separation block, and which rotates discs (5) attached to shaft (4). An outer surface and/or side surfaces of discs (5) are jagged, i.e., have protrusions (6), bumps (90, 91) and/or recesses, while the separation device contains at least two sieves (7, 8) attached to case (10) and equipped with gears (9) passing between discs (5). Mentioned at least two sieves (7, 8) contain first sieve (7) located between discharging pipeline (2) and receiving pipeline (3) and second sieve (8) located between supplying pipeline (1) and receiving pipeline (3).

EFFECT: device has significantly smaller consumed power and flow resistance, and structures subjected to wear and destruction are excluded; the device also receives three-dimensional fragments of a certain type and destroys fragments to an acceptable size.
