FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: disc braking mechanism for commercial vehicle with brake disc (4) covering from above brake support (2), which is installed on brake panel (3) on vehicle side with possibility of axial movement, and on both sides of brake disc (4) on one shaft for shoe, which is limited from input and output sides of canines (8) of brake shield and in which is positioned with bearing plate (6) and fixed on it friction pad (7) brake shoe (5), wherein each brake shoe (5) at braking at least from the inlet side in the direction of rotation of brake disc (4) rests on brake shield (3), brake shoe (5), facing the bottom of shaft for shoe end zone, is equipped with at least one protruding ledge that enters into recess of adjoining canine (8) of brake shield.
EFFECT: invention will allow increasing service life of brake shoes and reducing operating costs.
