FIELD: measuring.

SUBSTANCE: method and apparatus for controlling the concentration of gases in the air relate to means of environmental monitoring, namely, to means of monitoring the concentration of gases in the ambient air. The objective of the invention consists in controlling the concentration of gases in the air in actual conditions in the presence of a wide range of gases. The technical result of the claimed invention is achieved due to the gas module for continuous monitoring of concentrations of gases in the air including a body, at least two gas paths with outward exits for sampling the analysed medium, at least two gas sensors, at least two heat sensors, and a processor, wherein the sensors, heat sensors and processor are interconnected following the signal reception and transmission principle, the module is configured to consider the impact of the temperature and the non-target gases present in the analysed medium on the readings of concentration of the target gas.

EFFECT: provided possibility of continuously monitoring concentrations of gases in the ambient air with high accuracy of measurements.
