FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: recombinant representative of Bacillus cereus family is described that expresses fused protein containing: (A) protein or peptide of interest; and (B) targeting sequence, exosporium protein or fragment of exosporium protein that targets fused protein in exosporium of the recombinant representative of Bacillus cereus family. A composition is also described containing exosporium fragments originating from spores of the recombinant representative of Bacillus cereus family and carrier acceptable from agricultural point of view, wherein the composition stimulates plant growth, protects a plant from pathogen and/or increases plant resistance to stressful effects. Besides, a plant seed is presented coated with exosporium fragments originating from spores of the recombinant representative of Bacillus cereus family. Methods for the stimulation of plant growth, protection of a plant from pathogen or increase in plant resistance to stressful effects, immobilization of exosporium fragments on a plant, stimulation of germination of a plant seed, delivery of nucleic acids to a plant, protection of a plant from pathogen or increase in plant resistance to stressful effects, including the use of exosporium fragments on a plant, plant seed or area surrounding the plant or plant seed, are described, where exosporium fragments originate from spores of the recombinant representative of Bacillus cereus family according to the above-described and contain fused protein, and fused protein contains protein or peptide.

EFFECT: invention expands the arsenal of means for plant protection means and increase in seed germination.
