SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of power engineering, in particular to methods for milling a diaphragm with guide vanes of steam turbines. The method consists in that the blank of the diaphragm (1) is machined along the inner diameter and along the side planes (2) and (3), installed on a machine with numerical control (CNC), the ends of the diaphragm body (1) are milled, and the body is roughed diaphragms (1), channels between the blades (7), process their ends and chamfers on these ends and cleanly mill the hub part (8) of the diaphragm body (1), blades and their trim (9).

EFFECT: increased accuracy of nozzle channels, minimization of shrinkage during welding of the rim and greater rigidity of the diaphragm, which makes it possible to make the diaphragm thinner and reduce the length of the shafting.
