FIELD: tobacco industry.
SUBSTANCE: hookah device is proposed, containing a vessel forming an inner part made with the possibility of accommodating a volume of liquid, while the vessel contains an outlet of an upper space, an aerosol generating element connected via fluid to the vessel, while the aerosol generating element contains: an electric heating element, a tank for accommodating hookah aerosol generating substrate heated by the heating element, an inlet communicating with the tank, and an outlet communicating with the tank, as well as a chamber located between the vessel and the aerosol generating element and connected via fluid to the vessel and the aerosol generating element. The chamber contains a chamber inlet made with the possibility of accelerating the aerosol-containing air that flows through the chamber inlet from the aerosol generating element. The hookah device is made with the possibility of heating aerosol generating substrate placed in the tank to an extent sufficient to generate aerosol without burning aerosol generating substrate. The chamber contains a main chamber communicating via fluid with the chamber inlet, wherein the main chamber has such size and shape that to ensure the deceleration of the aerosol-containing air in the main chamber, when the aerosol-containing air exits the chamber inlet and enters the main chamber. The chamber inlet has the first hole near the aerosol generating element and the second hole in the main chamber, wherein aerosol from the aerosol generating element flows into the chamber inlet through the first hole and exits the second hole into the main chamber. The second hole has a diameter ranging from about 0.5 mm to about 4 mm.
EFFECT: claimed device forms satisfactory amount of one or both of visible aerosol and the total mass of aerosol, and also heats substrate in such a way that it does not lead to the formation of combustion by-products.
