FIELD: smoking accessories.

SUBSTANCE: hookah device comprises (i) a vessel having an inner volume configured to contain a liquid; and (ii) a reservoir configured to receive a cartridge containing an aerosol-forming substrate. Hookah device comprises a heating element configured to heat the aerosol-forming substrate when the cartridge is placed in the reservoir. Hookah device has a reservoir inlet in communication with the reservoir and located upstream relative to it, and has an outlet hole of the reservoir, which is in communication with the reservoir and located downstream relative to it. Hookah device comprises a tube in communication with the outlet of the reservoir and passing into the vessel through the inlet of the vessel. Hookah comprises an air inlet channel in communication with the environment and an inlet hole of the reservoir. Air inlet channel extends along the outer part of the tube.

EFFECT: invention enables to efficiently heat an aerosol-forming substrate and create a satisfactory amount of aerosol.
