FIELD: wireless communication technologies.

SUBSTANCE: terminal device determines, whether the first indication information is received; determines power of signal transmission in the first channel based on the first parameter; or, after the determination that the first indication information is not received, the terminal device determines power of signal transmission in the first channel based on the second parameter, or determines power of signal transmission in the first channel as maximum transmission power of the terminal device. The terminal device transmits a signal based on power of signal transmission in the first channel; at the same time, when the first channel is a narrow-band physical uplink shared channel (hereinafter – NPUSCH), power of signal transmission in the first channel is determined based on the second parameter, when a number of repetitions of a signal in NPUSCH is less than or equal to the first threshold value; or power of signal transmission in the first channel is determined as maximum transmission power of the terminal device, when a number of repetitions of a signal in NPUSCH is more than the first threshold value.

EFFECT: more flexible determination of transmission power by the terminal device, which allows for it to adapt better to the current network.
