SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for manufacturing a smoking product. A method is proposed for the manufacture of a smoking product that has a filter segment and a tobacco segment containing a tobacco rod and a cooling segment, including (A) the preparation of a double-length tobacco segment containing a double-length tobacco rod, which has a length that is twice the length of the tobacco rod in the smoking product in the form of a final product, and which can be separated in the central part longitudinally, and two cooling segments in contact with either end of a double-length tobacco rod; (B) splitting the double-length tobacco segment in the central part to prepare a pair of separate tobacco segments and flip the tobacco segments, thereby placing the tobacco segments through the gap to position the sections of tobacco rods outside, align the longitudinal axes of the tobacco segments and ensure that the cooling segments face each other; (C) preparing a double-length filter segment having a length that is twice the length of the filter segment in the smoking product as the final product, and placing the double-length filter segment in the gap so that both ends of the double-length filter segment come into contact with the end on the side of the cooling segment of any of the tobacco segments, thereby obtaining a composite segment; (D) combining the composite segment by wrapping one sheet of tipping paper to obtain a double-length smoking article having a length that is twice the length of the smoking product in the form of the final product; and (E) cutting the double-length smoking product in the central part in the longitudinal direction to obtain smoking products, with the cooling segment having a higher rigidity than the tobacco rod.

EFFECT: objective of the invention is to create a method for the effective manufacture of a smoking product.
