SUBSTANCE: absorbent product (1) includes a liquid-permeable intermediate sheet (5) located between a top sheet (2) and an absorbent element (4). The non-skin-facing surface of the intermediate sheet (5) has multiple contacting parts (54S) in contact with the absorbent element (4) adjacent to the intermediate sheet, and a non-contacting part (54N) not in contact with the absorbent element (4). When pressure is exerted on the intermediate sheet (5) from the side of the absorbent element (4) in the direction of thickness at a pressure of 30 gf/cm², the proportion of the total area of contact surfaces whereon the multiple contacting parts (54S) located on the pressed surface subjected to pressure are in contact with the absorbent element (4) is 80% or less of the area of the pressed surface.
