The absorbent element (5) includes a sheet absorbent element (50), in which the absorbent polymer (P) is placed between two base sheets (51 and 51) located so that they face each other in the thickness direction. The part (52) of the absorbent sheet (50) that overlaps the zone (32) with protrusions and recesses in top view has a high surface density of the absorbent polymer (P) than the parts (53) of the absorbent sheet (50) which overlap zones (33) without protrusions and recesses in the top view.
