SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of computing technology for processing audio data. The technical result is achieved by receiving a monophonic audio signal corresponding to an audio object, and presenting an emission pattern corresponding to the audio object, wherein the emission pattern comprises sound levels corresponding to multiple sampling periods, multiple frequency bands, and several directions; encoding a monophonic audio signal; encoding at least one from a time-varying information about the orientation of the source with 3 degrees of freedom (DoF) or 6DoF of the audio object to determine the metadata of the audio object and encode the emission pattern of the source to determine the metadata of the emission pattern.

EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of processing audio data.
