FIELD: processing of audio signals.

SUBSTANCE: one or more of the streams are associated with metadata which describe whether said stream is channel-based or object-based flow. Channel-based flows contain data presentation information encoded by a channel name; and objects based streams contain location information, encoded through location expressions encoded in associated metadata. A codec packs independent audio streams into a single binary sequence which contains all audio data. Such configuration allows to present sound data in compliance with allo-centric reference system, in which, in order to comply with the intention of the mixing operator, the position of presenting sound data is based on characteristics of the playing medium.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of quality and switching power of surrounding loudspeakers, providing improved reliability of data presentation.
