FIELD: coatings.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of paint and varnish industry and can be used for painting furniture, floors, and doors. Composition of the "water in oil" coating contains an aqueous phase emulsified in a non-aqueous liquid phase including an alkyd-based resin, salt dissolved in the aqueous phase, and a primary siccative. The salt constitutes a carbonate or organic salt of an alkaline or alkaline earth metal. Also proposed are a substrate and a method for improving drying in the aging of the composition of a "water in oil" coating.
EFFECT: reduction in the time of drying of the coating after the aging of the coating composition.
