SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a protective apparatus, mainly an anti-erosion protective apparatus, preferably a geotextile, intended for planar spreading on the surface subject to protection, mainly the earth surface, and at least mostly made of several chemical fibres, interconnected by force closure and/or non-detachably, arranged so as to form an essentially three-dimensional structuring. It is proposed that at least most of the chemical fibres are at least mostly biodegradable. The chemical fibres therein are polymer fibres forming a three-dimensional non-woven material with a disordered structure and with cavities between most of the chemical fibres.
EFFECT: invention provides a possibility of achieving especially good suitability for seeding by creating favourable conditions for the germination of plant seeds, mainly the conditions of humidity; also, by means of the structure of a monofilament non-woven material with a disordered structure with cavities, good water and light permeability of the protective apparatus can be achieved in a favourable manner.
