FIELD: protective netting.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a protective net, especially for capturing heavy loads, preferably dynamic impact bodies, especially stones. The protective net is, at least for the most part, made of mesh elements (10a-f) that mesh with each other. The maximum total length (12a-f) of the protective net parallel to the direction of the main extension (14a-f) of the protective net in the outer region (18a-f) of the protective net, which contains, first of all, at least one outer row (16a-f) of the net elements (10a-f), significantly exceeds the minimum total length (20a-f) of the protective net parallel to the direction of the main extension (14a-f) in a different from the outer region (18a-f) of the inner region (22a-f) of the protective net. The full lengths (12a-f, 20a-f) are measured with the protective net fully deployed in the plane and free from internal stresses.
EFFECT: increased reliability of the protective net.
