FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method for actuating a measuring apparatus and to a battery-powered measuring apparatus with a body accommodating a magnetic switch. An adhesive layer used to adhere the measuring apparatus at the desired measurement site is applied on the outside of the body. The adhesive layer is coated with a protective film. The protective film is connected with a magnet so that the separation of the protective film from the adhesive layer causes the magnet to be removed from the body. The removal of the magnet from the body leads to the activation of the magnetic switch, resulting in the activation of power supply of the electronic and sensor units of the measuring apparatus.

EFFECT: ensured simplicity of manufacture of the battery-powered measuring apparatus, reliability and safety in operation thereof.
