FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a measuring instrument, in particular, for measurement of a filling level, for measurement of a flow rate, or for measurement of pressure, and to an operation method. Measuring instrument (100) contains energy-adjusting unit (220), which is made with the possibility of supply of adjustable current to user (400) connected via controllable switch (250), RFID unit (380). In this case, RFID unit (380) is made with the possibility, according to an external command from external communication device (480), of selective connection or disconnection of user (400) by means of controllable switch (250) or transmission of energy from RFID unit (380) to energy accumulator (200).
EFFECT: possibility of operation in an energy-saving mode with simultaneous possibility of access to a device in both connected and disconnected state.
