FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology. The invention discloses a recombinant vaccine against varicella zoster virus (VZV), including a fused protein formed by the amino acid sequence of the extracellular domain of the recombinant glycoprotein gE gene of the live attenuated strain VZV (strain OKA) and the Fc fragment of human immunoglobulin. In the present invention, a recombinant gene capable of expressing a fused protein is proposed. The fused protein according to the present invention has a large molecular weight (approximately 400 kDa), which significantly improves its pharmacokinetic parameters, increasing the half-life from blood plasma and thereby prolonging therapeutic activity, and also leads to slower renal clearance, has pronounced immunogenicity and can induce the expression of neutralizing antibodies in serum at a high level.
EFFECT: expansion of the range of solutions to resist VZV.
