In a child aged 3 to 15 years, serotonin is detected in the blood serum. With its value in children up to 270 ng/ml, the formation of foot arches is considered favorable. With a serotonin index value above 270 ng/ml, the risk of progression of planovalgus deformity and flat feet is considered high.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to predict the development and progression of planovalgus deformity and flat feet in children and adolescents aged 3 to 15 years in the early stages with high accuracy by determining serotonin in the blood serum of children and adolescents.
