FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of non-ferrous metallurgy, in particular to the compositions of erosion-resistant composite materials based on copper, obtained by powder metallurgy and intended for the manufacture of high-performance electrode-tools for electroerosive machining of metallic materials, mainly hard-to-machine and, above all, for piercing them deep holes and small grooves. Composite material based on powdered copper contains, wt.%: aluminum 0.81-0.95, graphite 0.10-0.20, copper oxide 3.39-3.49, copper - the rest.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing the erosion wear resistance of the material and increasing the productivity of the process of electroerosive machining with electrode-tools from it.
