SUBSTANCE: invention relates to furniture production and may be used for manufacturing convertible furniture, convertible arm-chair bed, in particular. The convertible furniture includes frame with support swinging surfaces, movable back and pull-out seat. The pull-out seat is made up from frames and soft elements. The conversion mechanism includes the front and rear pairs of thrust with the latter being fixed to the frame by one pair of ends and to the middle part of the said movable back by the other ends. The convertible furniture includes also springs, bearing roller, holders and clearance eliminator. The mechanism of conversion is represented as a pair of three-link joints where front pulling mechanism is in joint connection with the pull-out seat by one end, and to the movable back by the other end. In the initial position of the furniture, the fastening joint of the front pulling mechanism on the movable back in each of the three-link joints of conversion mechanism is mounted offset from the movable back bearing roller rotation axis to the side of pull-out seat so that it can turn around when the furniture is converted to the upper position. The length of the pulling mechanism is equal to the distance between pulling mechanism joint connection on the movable back and bearing roller rotation axis.

EFFECT: invention provides for simplifying structure and improving its reliability.
