SUBSTANCE: mechanism of transformation of cushioned furniture comprises the pivotally interconnected upper U-shaped bracket with a corner-shaped top element and levers connected to the support bar. The support bar comprises a stopper which serves to limit the movement of the lever. The bracket is secured to the mattress of the sofa backrest, and the support bar to the side elements of the sofa, the linen box or the base of the seat. The mechanism may comprise springs located on the holders.
EFFECT: increase in technological effectiveness of the design.
