SUBSTANCE: Vivaldi antenna comprises a dielectric substrate, a metal layer, a slit in the metal layer with divergent walls along the longitudinal direction and forming an antenna aperture, a lens placed in the antenna aperture and made from scatterers. The scatterers are in the form of electroconductive plates placed on the dielectric substrate between the divergent walls, and are free of contact with the walls of the slit for compensation of phase distortions in the aperture.

EFFECT: device reduces longitudinal and transverse dimensions of the antenna and has a simple design.
