SUBSTANCE: claimed inventions relate to the field of pipeline transportation of oil and petroleum products. The method for cleaning the tank from bottom sediments by dispersing sediments is that oil or petroleum product is fed into the bottom part of the tank 1 with oil sludge sediment to destroy and dissolve bottom sediments through the supply pipeline 5 and the ring pipeline 2 with hydraulic monitors 3 mounted in it. The resulting mixture is removed from the bottom part of the tank by a discharge pipeline 4. The mixture is heated up to the melting point of paraffins. After heating the mixture, it is subjected to ultrasonic treatment. The treated mixture of dissolved oil sludge with oil or petroleum products is pumped into the tank through hydraulic monitors 3 mounted in an annular pipeline 2 at the height of the first belt of the tank every 90 or 45 degrees around the circumference of the tank relative to its axis and at an angle of 30-80 degrees to the bottom of the tank by means of a pump 8. The resulting mixture of dissolved oil sludge sediment with oil or the oil product is subjected to multiple circulation. In this case, the tank is cleaned when it is filled with oil above the level of the ring pipeline 2. The method is carried out using a device for cleaning tanks from bottom sediments.
