FIELD: oil production and refinery industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the oil production and refinery in particular recycling and utilization of petroliferous residues - oil sludge accumulating in oil and dark-oil products storage reservoirs with further use of the received product; the method of reservoirs purification from oil sludge comprises oil delivery to the near-bottom part of the reservoir for sedimenting sludge whereat the oil sludge is destructed and diluted; the resultant mixture is vended from the bottom part of the reservoir and thereafter heated in the heat-exchanging unit up to the paraffin melting temperature and returned to the reservoir by means of spreading the mixture over the residue at the near bottom part of the reservoir which is performed by the stream distributor mounted over the reservoir furnished with flexible pipes; the mixture undergoes the repeated circulation according to the scheme “reservoir - heat exchanger - stream distributor” until the product with the crystallization temperature not exceeding the temperature of the ambient environment is formed.

EFFECT: invention allows to reduce emission of hydrocarbons during the reservoir purification procedure and to enhance the purification efficiency and reduce energy consumption.
